What happened
Boeing (BA) is expected to report a 21-cent per-share loss on Tuesday before the bell, with investors watching whether free cash flow stays positive at about $330.5 million. A net loss of about $153 million is expected, far smaller than the roughly $6 billion loss a year ago. Free cash flow, the cash left after paying for running the business and investments, was negative $1.5 billion in the first quarter but positive $631 million in the second. Boeing shares are down about 17% this year. Coca-Cola also reports before the bell, with Visa and Robinhood after the close.
Why it matters
Boeing is one of the world's two big makers of passenger jets, so its cash flow shows whether its recovery from production and quality problems is real. Positive free cash flow means the company is funding itself rather than borrowing more. Analysts expect its net debt to be near $25.4 billion by year-end. Airbus delivered 547 jets in the first nine months of 2026, versus 475 for Boeing.
