What happened
Fox Factory (FOXF) stock fell 13.3% on Friday to $16.04 after CEO Mike Dennison stepped down and the company cut its 2026 sales and profit outlook. Board member Douglas Grimm is interim CEO while a search firm looks for a permanent leader. Fox now expects 2026 sales of $1.35 billion to $1.38 billion, down from $1.42 billion to $1.47 billion, and core profit (adjusted EBITDA) of $140 million to $150 million, down from $176 million to $196 million. It blamed weak Marucci Sports results, a vehicle-parts supply problem and softer bike sales.
Why it matters
Fox Factory makes performance parts for bikes, off-road vehicles and trucks, so its weaker outlook points to problems in several parts of the business at once. About $63 million of the sales cut comes from selling Marucci Sports, but the expected profit drop is much bigger (per). A chief executive leaving on the same day as bad news also leaves investors unsure who will lead the fix. The next results on November 5 should show how deep the problems go.
